Dr.K.N.Subramanian completed his under-graduation and post-graduation in India from Madurai Medical College and Coimbatore Medical College attached to Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai. Further, he proceeded to the United Kingdom. He joined Royal college of Surgeons of England approved Basic surgical training scheme in Nottingham University Hospital.
He continued his further training in Liverpool and completed M.Ch Orthopaedic Surgery at University of Liverpool. He topped in the selection for Specialist orthopaedic training in All Wales Orthopaedic Program and underwent six years rotation attached to various hospitals in and around Cardiff. He completed FRCS (Trauma and Orthopaedics) and his intention was to super specialize in arthroscopy, Orthopaedic sports injury, shoulder and Knee surgery. Hence he did an in country Royal College approved Arthroscopy and Knee Surgery Fellowship at York University Hospital.
Further he went to Canada and completed Fellowship in Arthroscopy, Orthopaedic sports injury and Shoulder surgery attached to the World famous PAN AM Sports Clinic, Winnipeg, Canada. He also did Trauma and Fellowship attached to Sunnybrook Hospital, University of Toronto, Canada. After completing his Fellowships in Canada, he served as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with special interest in Shoulder surgery, Sports Injury surgery and Arthroscopy at Glan Clwyd Hospital, Wales, UK.
During his career, he has acquired a broad experience in managing simple and complex orthopaedic condition especially pertaining to Sports medicine, Shoulder and Knee surgery. He has worked with stalwarts in Sports medicine and has learned the philosophy of deriving the best outcome for each individual condition.
